Write the Plan First. Then See Where You Left It.
A trading journal built around the plan you make before each trade. Record your entry, stop, target, setup grade and rules first, add what happened to the same record, and see every difference between the two, with an AI Coach that reviews your trades against your own rules. For options and futures traders.

What the Gap Is Made Of
The plan and the result live on one record, so each difference between them sits side by side instead of in your memory.
Slippage Against Your Plan
Your planned entry and your fill side by side, with the difference worked out as a share of the risk you planned.
Stops You Moved
The stop you planned beside the stop you used, so a widened stop stays on the record for you and for the AI Coach.
Exits Short of Target
Where you got out, next to the target you set before you got in.
R From the Stop You Used
Every closed trade gets an R-multiple from your actual stop, and its page sets the reward to risk from your fill beside the one you planned.
Planned, Then Broken
You mark your rules twice: in the plan, and after the trade. A rule the plan met and the trade broke is named as exactly that.
Skipped Trades Count Too
Mark a plan not taken and pick why. The reason is saved as a choice, so hesitation stays countable, and weekly and monthly reviews read it.
How It Works
One trade, one record, in two stages. Fill in both at once if you journal after the session.
-
Plan the Trade
Before you enter: planned entry, stop and target, the grade you give the setup and why, and which of your rules the plan meets. Save it as a plan.
-
Log What Happened
Afterwards, your fill, your stop, your exit and the rules you actually followed go into the Outcome section of the same trade.
-
See the Gap
The trade's page draws your plan against your fills and names each gap, and the AI Coach reviews each trade, day, week and month against your own rules.
Reviewed Before and After the Trade
Plan Review
Checks the plan you wrote: that there's a stop on the right side of your entry, the reward to risk your prices imply, which of your rules the plan covers, and whether your setup grade matches the reason you gave. It never says whether a setup is good or where the market is going, and never tells you to take or skip a trade.
Execution Review
Grades what you did against what you planned, from the figures on the record: the fill, the stop you used, where you got out and the rules you marked. Your setup grade is treated as a claim to check, not a fact.
Plan vs. Execution Questions
Do I have to plan every trade before I take it?
No. Fill in the plan and the outcome together whenever you like, including after the session. Writing the plan first is what makes the gap honest, but the journal works either way.
What if I plan a trade and don't take it?
Mark it as not taken and pick the reason, such as hesitation, news risk or an entry that never triggered. It stays in your journal, and the weekly and monthly reviews read the reasons.
Does it work for futures and options?
Yes. Options and futures trades each have their own form, and both keep the plan and the outcome on the same trade.
Will the AI Coach tell me which trades to take?
No. A plan review checks that the plan is complete and consistent, and never gives a view on the setup or the market. An execution review grades what you did against what you planned.
Does it import trades from my broker?
No. You log each trade by hand, the plan first and the outcome after.
Can I see results in R instead of dollars?
Yes. Every trade with a stop gets an R-multiple, and one switch in the menu shows each trade's result as a percentage for options or in points for futures.
