What It Tracks for Each Account

Pick your firm, type in your account's figures, and every trade you log on that account is measured against them.

Your figures

Enter the Rules Your Firm Gives You

Topstep, Lucid, Tradeify and Vanquish accounts start with that firm's list of rules, and any other firm with a common set. Every figure comes from you, so none of them goes out of date.

Where you stand

Headroom, Limits and Minimums

Worked out from the trades you log on the account and shown on your dashboard, for static, end-of-day and intraday trailing drawdowns. Every figure is labelled an estimate: your firm's dashboard is the one that counts.

On every trade

Firm Rules on the Trade Checklist

Rules you can answer about one trade join your own rules on the trade form. Daily and whole-account rules are measured for you rather than ticked.

Several accounts

Every Account Kept Separate

An evaluation and a funded account side by side, each with its own rules and standing. Every trade names the account it was taken on.

AI Coach

Coached Inside the Account's Rules

Reviews judge a trade's risk against the firm's limits rather than the account size, keep each account's figures apart, and say where a day, week or month leaves every account.

Your own rules

Personal Rules Stay Yours

Switching to a prop account hides your personal rules without deleting them or their history, and one click copies them onto the account.

How It Works

Three steps, and every trade you log after that counts toward the account.

  1. Add the Account

Pick the firm and whether it's futures or options, name the account, and enter its stage, size, starting balance and start date.

  2. Fill In Its Rules

Profit target, maximum loss and drawdown type, daily loss limit, consistency, minimum days, position size, flat-by time. Leave blank any rule your account doesn't have.

  3. Log Trades on It

Choose the account on the trade form. Where you stand updates from the trades you log, and the AI Coach reviews them against the account's rules.

AI Coach

An AI Coach That Knows the Account

When a trade was taken on a prop account, the AI Coach gets that account's rules and where you stood against them on the day under review. It reads your risk against the firm's limits, not the account size.

  • Each trade's risk as a share of the daily loss limit and the maximum loss
  • Where a day, week or month leaves each of your accounts
  • Plan reviews before a trade state a firm rule at stake as a fact, and never tell you to take or skip the trade

Prop Firm Journal Questions

Does it connect to my prop firm or broker?

No. You log each trade yourself, and your standing is worked out from those trades. That makes it an estimate: the fees you log are counted, but fees you leave out and anything traded outside the journal aren't, so your firm's dashboard is always the figure that counts.

Which prop firms does it work with?

Any. Topstep, Lucid, Tradeify and Vanquish accounts start with that firm's list of rules, and any other firm starts from a common set you can add to. No figures come built in: firms change them often, so you enter your own.

Can I track more than one account?

Yes. Each account keeps its own rules and standing, and each trade names the account it was taken on. Delete an account and its trades stay in your journal.

Does it work for options prop firms?

Yes. Options and futures accounts both work, and each trade form offers the accounts of its own asset class.

My account has an intraday trailing drawdown. Does that work?

Yes, as an estimate. The journal records each trade's result, not its swings while it was open, so an intraday trailing floor is worked out from the balance after each closed trade, and the app says so.

What happens to my personal rules?

They stay, with their history. Pick "My own account" and they're back, or copy them onto a prop account in one click.

The Intelligent Trader isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any prop firm. Firm names belong to their owners, and every rule figure in the app is one you enter.
